It all started, when Paulien the founder of O my Bag went to India, to visit various leather manufacturers, since leather is India's biggest export product. In her mind, she wanted to not only found a company, but start a business that would give back to communities in a fair and sustainable manner, next to being profitable. O my Bag's leather is sustainable in many ways, due to a cleaner and safer tanning process, a reduced carbon footprint, and leather that is made with respect for the environment, by creating fair and equal work opportunities. The corporation with local Indian manufacturers has been at the heart of the business ever since the beginning. O my bag is a company that believes in their morals and their customer, in order to change the world, together.
