The-Acey AW15 Campaign: Women with Style & Purpose

Here at The-Acey, we’re constantly inspired by the women who embody our ethos - Style with Purpose. Consequently, when it came to curating our Autumn/Winter campaign, it dawned on us: who better to showcase the collection than these inspiring women themselves.

We selected four East London based female entrepreneurs that have been of particular importance to us throughout our first year online, inspiring us with their stories of determination, courage and passion to pursue their purpose. From the duo behind The Pressery who were the first Acey Women we interviewed on our journal, our Instagram inspiration Marina London to our favourite local cafe Tiosk who provided food and drink at our first Acey event in London.

From hereon, each week we’ll be releasing an interview with an Acey Woman who we believe embodies the philosophy at the core of our being, Style with Purpose. Meet the Acey Women behind our AW15 campaign:

Chi-San Wan and Natali Stajcic: Co founders of East London based almond milk company The Pressery that recently raised a record breaking £150K in 5 hours via crowd sourced investment to develop their business. Renowned for their simple approach to branding, business and driving transparency in the food industry. Natali opted for a change in career from fast paced events organisation after the birth of her daughter. Whilst Chi went from styling celebrities to styling some of the UK’s most influential supermarket shelves.

Marina Guergova: 30 year old Bulgarian born designer, graduated from Central Saint Martins to establish her quintessential silk brand Marina London. Opting for a less is more approach by focusing on doing one thing well, Marina designs her collections using the natural fiber silk to create timeless silhouettes with her Portugese based factory.

Natasha Kelly: Founder of Tiosk cafe on Broadway Market. The mother of four traded in a highflying job in the fashion industry to pursue her passion for natural food and teas. Inspired by the overwhelming number of cafes dedicated to serving carefully sourced coffee, Natasha set out to reinvent what it meant to be a tea shop.
